Some people love all the TV shows going around and some don't. I guess I fall into the latter category. Whilst I understand the motives for making and participating, and fair play to all concerned, I think it has continued to shape the industry in a rather negative way. Years ago, bands/artists would get signed on long term potential and over a period of years would get developed into really successful, interesting groups. Think of all the gigantic bands of the 60s 70s and 80s. There were loads of them. Today not so much...
